Continuing Education Units

Continuing education units depend on the type of course and its duration. Please verify the course format with your instructor(s) to ensure you’re applying for credits for the correct type of course.

Credits for MHFA and YMHFA 2nd Edition

If you need continuing education units for your professional licensure, MU Extension will award:

Youth Mental Health First Aid: 6.5 contact hours or .65 CEUs
Adult Mental Health First Aid: 7.5 contact hours or .75 CEUs
Community-Specific Mental Health First Aid: 7.5 contact hours or .75 CEUs
