Mental Health First Aid® is a skills-based training that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenges in adults.
Who should take this course? Adults age 18+ who support other adults, including employers, hospital staff, faith communities, first responders, family members and caring individuals.
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18.
Who should take this course? Adults age 18+ who support youth and children, including parents, caregivers, educators, community members, and professionals.
teen Mental Health First Aid teaches teens how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge among their friends and peers. The program equips young people with the knowledge and skills they need to take care of their own mental health and to support each other, including how to get the help of a trusted adult.
Who should take this course? Teens in grades 9-12 or ages 14-18 in their school or youth serving organization.
