Project AWARE Partners

We Can’t Do It Alone!

To make a big of a difference in the Greater Ferguson Community, Missouri Institute of Mental Health (MIMH) needs valuable partnerships with three other organizations in the Greater Saint Louis Community! Our partnerships on Project AWARE are Behavioral Health Response (BHR), Great Circle and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri (BBBSEMO). Not only do they help us with Project AWARE Youth Mental Health First Aid courses, but they are essential to our data collecting process, advertising and networking with other social service organizations throughout Saint Louis.

BHR
Behavioral Health Response (BHR) BHR is an integral component of the Eastern Missouri Community Mental Health Centers’ service delivery system. BHR provides confidential telephone counseling to people in mental health crises as well as mobile outreach services, community referral services and critical incident stress management (CISM). BHR’s crisis hotline and mobile outreach services are provided free of charge to the public by paid professional staff who have masters degrees in their respective behavioral science disciplines.
Mission
BHR, the community’s behavioral health safety net, ensures compassionate and immediate barrier-free access to behavioral health services.
Vision
BHR envisions the world where all people are empowered to receive essential help and support to promote healthy living.
